Enneagram Types 101
The Enneagram is one of the frameworks I use to help leaders and teams see themselves and each other more clearly.
When we understand our patterns — the ways we protect, connect, and strive — we unlock the capacity to lead with more humanity, clarity, and calm.
This page gathers my favorite resources to help you begin (or deepen) your own exploration of this powerful system.
Learning about the Enneagram Personality System
I've pulled together all of the resources you need to begin learning about the Enneagram in one place to make it simple for you. Feel free to poke around and send me a message if you have a question or are looking for more information.
Why Leaders Love the Enneagram
The Enneagram isn’t just a personality tool - it’s a map of how we lose and find connection.
For leaders, it helps:
• Navigate difficult conversations without taking things personally
• Recognize the patterns that drive stress or conflict
• Build self-awareness and compassion for others
• Create psychologically safe teams grounded in trust and accountability
It’s one of many frameworks I use in my regenerative leadership coaching to help you bring more clarity and calm into complexity.
Want to apply the Enneagram to your leadership or team?
I offer coaching and workshops that help you translate these insights into everyday practice, so your team can communicate clearly, reduce reactivity, and collaborate with more ease.

The 9 Enneagram Archetypes
If you want to learn about the Enneagram personality types, I created a downloadable cheatsheet for you to print out and take notes on.
If you want to dig in deeper to the archetypes, I’ve curated a list of podcasts, movies, and stories for each of the enneagram types too. This gives you the opportunity to energetically experience the types in their own words.
What is this Enneagram and why should I care?
Let’s back up for a second and go to the beginning. Here I share a little bit about the history of the Enneagram, the sacred geometry contained in the symbol, what the centers of intelligence are, and the reasons why I study the Enneagram. I even have a post on Enneagram tests here.
The psychodynamics of the Enneagram types
Each Enneagram type has a specific set of attributes that contribute to how and why personality functions the way it does. You can read more about the superpowers and Achilles heels of each type, the emotional patterns, focus of attention, stressors, and coping strategies. I even created an ebook that details the triggers, defensive reactions, and how to respond to each of the types when you find yourself in conflict.
What is the invitation to integration for each Enneagram type?
With the start of the new year, I wrote a letter to each of the types detailing the path of growth for each Enneagram type. You can download it here.
If you want to learn more about the Enneagram:
You are welcome to send me a message and we can chat. I do workshops virtually and in-person for teams or community groups customized to your dynamics and curiosity. I’ve also got a downloadable worksheet with my favorite books to get started learning about the system here. Browse all of my blog posts about the Enneagram here. You can read more about relationship dynamics between types here. And find information on types that look alike here, for those trying to discern which one is right for them.
I hope this helps! I’m excited for you to begin this journey of discovery using this powerful tool.
